Anxiety

What Is Anxiety?

Anxiety is the underlying pattern to almost every issue and it can be exhausting!

It comes in various forms such as, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, and performance anxiety. But it can also present as worry, work stress, general stress, OCD, phobias, and unwanted habits. It is the most common issue that we deal with and is the foundation for many other patterns of behaviour. The interesting thing about anxiety and stress is that you must create it, either by a thought or an unconscious pattern that you are running.

The anxiety is not a part of you!

It is a projection of our imagined future. Anything we think about happening in the future is fabricated, because the truth is we just don’t know what will happen even a few minutes from now! How often have you worried about an event coming up only to find that it didn’t happen the way you thought it would, or maybe the dreaded moment didn’t happen at all. Anxiety is a primitive necessary response to events such as in an emergency. But most of us run this pattern of anxiety in too many areas of our everyday lives. We are oversensitive to the world around
us. In this case it presents as stress, worry, anger, insomnia, addictions, phobias, weight loss/gain, or relationship difficulties.
